Student of the Month October 2019: Liz Kryger



HOW OFTEN DO YOU PRACTICE YOGA?
Over the years I have tried to practice 2-3 days per week and mostly on the weekends. However, since I started attending the hot sculpt class in August 2019, I have only missed yoga or sculpt for one week and 2 days when I was on vacation. 

WHY DO YOU PRACTICE YOGA?
Because I love the way I feel and how well I sleep after yoga. I have always looked forward to attending hot yoga; however, since I started hot sculpt I anticipate it even more and I no longer use my long work day as an excuse not to attend class during the week. 

WHAT ARE THE PRIMARY BENEFITS YOU EXPERIENCE?
The primary benefits have been body tone, core strength, and energy. However, since I started the hot sculpt I have gotten stronger, have begun to lose my stubborn belly fat, and I have noticed more muscle definition all over my body. I have always tried to eat healthy but, these new benefits with hot sculpt have motivated me into paying more attention to what I eat and as a result I have lost some weight. 
 
WHAT IS YOUR MOST CHALLENGING POSTURE? WHY?
Lately the abdominal series in hot sculpt because my stomach has always been my problem area. The most difficult hot yoga pose for me is standing head to knee. Why because my hamstrings are not that flexible. 
 
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE POSTURE?
Lately it has been child's pose.
 
HOW HAS YOUR HOT YOGA PRACTICE IMPACTED OR CHANGED YOUR LIFE?
Overall I feel more healthy and in shape.
