Student of the Month November 2018: Ling Chi Yeh

WHEN DID YOU START YOGA AND WHERE? I start 7 ½ years ago at age 64 at Yoga Tribe. January 4 2011.

HOW OFTEN DO YOU PRACTICE YOGA? I practice 4 to 6 times a week.   I am at my best to take one day off after 3 to 4 days consecutively.

WHY DO YOU PRACTICE YOGA?  I was suffering a very painful skin disorder I thought the hot yoga may help not knowing much about it. I thought $20.00 for 20days would be a good way to try.  Since my starting practice skin illness never came back. I have better coloring on my skin than 20 years ago.

WHAT ARE THE PRIMARY BENEFITS YOU EXPERIENCE?  One of my hobby is ballroom competition. My partner is my teacher age 28. I competed against  students are 20 years younger. I felt age or stamina do not limit my performance. Yoga practice help my pasture and endurance.  

WHAT IS YOUR MOST CHALLENGING POSTURE? WHY?  I struggle with all balancing postures.


HOW HAS YOUR HOT YOGA PRACTICE IMPACTED OR CHANGED YOUR LIFE? I worry less about things in life. Any unpleasant feeling never stays with me.
