Student of the Month March 2020: Endang Olson

WHEN DID YOU START YOGA AND WHERE?  I started yoga at Yogaworks in Westwood area of LA. 
HOW OFTEN DO YOU PRACTICE YOGA? Pretty much every day, like breathing and eating. 
WHY DO YOU PRACTICE YOGA? It helps me control my mind, body and soul, and I have a great chauffeur.
WHAT ARE THE PRIMARY BENEFITS YOU EXPERIENCE? Yoga helps create a peaceful body and mind and assists managing everyday stress. It also creates a more energetic lifestyle AND I get to meet some truly wonderful and unique Yogis. 
WHAT IS YOUR MOST CHALLENGING POSTURE? WHY? Savasana- the art of relaxing is harder than you would expect. 
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE POSTURE? Urdhva Dhanurasana (Wheel Pose) 
HOW HAS YOUR HOT YOGA PRACTICE IMPACTED OR CHANGED YOUR LIFE? I find the heat addictive. The first few times I went it was overwhelming. Over time, I have become hooked on the sensation of sweating it all out. It's like going through a giant wringer. You walk out feeling new as if I were just born, like an empty vessel ready to start all over. These days, if I go more than a day or two without hot yoga, I start feeling heavy and burdened, as though I am hauling around too much psychic baggage.
