Staff Member of the Month March 2019: Ally Rochford



WHEN DID YOU START YOGA AND WHERE?
I began practicing yoga on and off in college at my local 24 hour fitness. 

HOW OFTEN DO YOU PRACTICE YOGA?
I practice yoga 6 days a week. 

WHY DO YOU PRACTICE YOGA?
I practice yoga at Yoga Tribe and am thankful that I am able to practice hot yoga, vinyasa flow, and yin! 

WHAT ARE THE PRIMARY BENEFITS YOU EXPERIENCE?
Yoga has truly changed my life in that it has filled a void that I didn’t know was there and has filled my soul with joy. I am a happier person and am more confident in myself, inside and out. Yoga has helped me discover and be my truest self. 

WHAT IS YOUR MOST CHALLENGING POSTURE? WHY?
My most challenging posture is Standing Bow Pulling Pose. I find that this posture requires a great amount of focus on my breath, which is something that I am working to improve! 

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE POSTURE?
My favorite posture is standing head to knee, as it challenges me to be strong and stay focused. 

HOW HAS YOUR HOT YOGA PRACTICE IMPACTED OR CHANGED YOUR LIFE?
One year ago I took my first hot yoga class at Yoga Tribe. Since then, I have incorporated into my daily life and am taking the next step by completing hot yoga teacher training. I could not be more thrilled to be following my passion by pursuing a deeper understanding of the hot yoga practice.
