WHEN DID YOU START YOGA AND WHERE?
Oh gosh! It’s been so long. If my memory serves me right, I believe it was at Yoga Works downtown HB in 2001.

HOW OFTEN DO YOU PRACTICE YOGA?
2-3 times a week is my average, but schedule permitting, I would love to go everyday!

WHY DO YOU PRACTICE YOGA?
I first started because of my love of dance and felt the two had some 
similarities. I did not realize back when I started how it would benefit my mind.  I feel like a million bucks when I leave a class. 
 
WHAT ARE THE PRIMARY BENEFITS YOU EXPERIENCE?
Yoga helps keep me flexible, helps with my range of motion, and keeps me strong. I love the way yoga connects my body, mind and breath.  
 
WHAT IS YOUR MOST CHALLENGING POSTURE? WHY?
I struggle with camel and bow pose for some reason. (Kinda bothers one of my knees) But I always try!  Some days are better than others and would love to dive deeper to understand why I have trouble. 
 
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE POSTURE?
I love pigeon. There’s something about melting down into the mat that makes me feel very grounded during that pose. 
 
HOW HAS YOUR HOT YOGA PRACTICE IMPACTED OR CHANGED YOUR LIFE?
Hot yoga has really challenged my focus level.  I enjoy running and I usually turn my brain off when I go out for a run. Hot yoga has really made me become more mindful during my practice and I feel like it overflows into my everyday life.
