WHEN DID YOU START YOGA AND WHERE? We started together at Yoga Tribe (then Huntington Beach Hot Yoga) in 2008. Neither one of us had done more than 1-2 classes prior to that. We’ve been members off and on since then, and have really dedicated to a steady practice the last 3 years. HOW OFTEN DO YOU PRACTICE YOGA? WHEN DID YOU START YOGA AND WHERE? I took my first hot yoga class in 2014. I tried many different studios in the area. I quickly fell in love with the hot yoga sequence but because I carry a little more flesh than most bodies in the classes, I always felt self-conscience and a bit excluded. The first time i walked into Yoga Tribe, in 2015, I knew I found my home. Everyone was so inviting and kind. There was a feeling of acceptance and community that I felt right away.
