As a native Californian, early on my passion was dance and movement. For over 20 years of professional dancing all over the world, it began to take its toll on my body. In dance we are to push ourselves past our comfort zones, push through injuries with a smile. After months of physical therapy for an ankle injury and torn achilles tendon, I found Yoga! And never looked back. Yoga gave me such peace of mind and clarity, that I knew it had to be an integral part of my life. I completed the 200 hour teacher training with Shannon Kassoff in 2017. I am currently a 200 hour-RYT through Yoga Alliance, the national education and support organization for yoga in the United States as well as a certified Sound Meditation Teacher. My teaching style is Vinyasa-based and incorporates breath centered movement to allow students to find an expression of each posture that works best with their body. You can expect a class that is fun, at times challenging, alignment oriented, breath centered, free of judgement and competition with an eclectic arrangement of poses to music. I try to relate what we are doing on the mat to everyday life. It brings me so much joy to share the wisdom and knowledge I constantly am learning with others, to help them on or off of their mats.
